Cookies and browser storage

Effective date: 23 October 2026 · Cookie wording version 1

Cookies are small files a website saves on your device; "browser storage" does the same job inside your browser. This page lists everything this site uses, so you can decide what to allow. It forms part of our Privacy Policy (section 7).

We use no advertising, tracking or analytics cookies, and we never share cookie data with advertisers.

Essential items are needed for the site to work or to keep it secure. Under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) they do not need your consent, so they cannot be switched off here (you can block them in your browser, but sign-in will then stop working). Preferences items are optional and are used only if you allow them.

If you pay through Stripe, or sign in with Google or Microsoft, you leave this site for theirs; they set their own cookies under their own policies.

Your choice

You have not made a choice yet, so only the essential items are in use.

You can change your mind at any time by coming back to this page; turning preferences off also clears what was saved. We keep a record of each choice you make (a random reference, your choice, the date and time, the version of this wording, your IP address and browser type, and your account if you were signed in) so we can show that we respected it. That record is kept for 3 years. Details are in section 7 of the Privacy Policy.

Cookies on this site

We use one essential cookie to keep you signed in and protect forms. With your permission we also use browser storage to remember your menu layout and editor settings. We use no advertising or analytics cookies. Cookie details · Privacy policy
